Cleaning Terms & Conditions

 

“The Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our” – meaning Avinchi Cleaning Solutions of 18 Ivy Gardens, Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 4GA.

“Cleaner” – means the person or firm carrying out CLEANING Service(s) on behalf of Avinchi Cleaning Solutions.

“Client”, “Their” – means the person, firm or corporate body together with any subsidiary or associated company as defined by the Companies Act 1985 to whom the CLEANING Service(s) are supplied by Avinchi Cleaning Solutions.

“Service(s)” – means the CLEANING Service(s) carried out on behalf of Avinchi Cleaning Solutions.

“CLEANING” – means the CLEANING Service(s) provided by Avinchi Cleaning Solutions at the Client’s address by the Cleaner.

By agreeing to Service(s) provided by Avinchi Cleaning Solutions, over the telephone, in person, on our website or via email, you agree to follow the terms and conditions listed below.

 

  1. All DOMESTIC CLEANING AND COMMERCIAL CLEANING SERVICES
    1. The Terms and Conditions in Section “A”. apply to all Service(s) rendered by Avinchi Cleaning Solutions.
    2. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change.
    3. The sales advisers can only give a rough estimate of the duration of the CLEANING Service(s), which is based on a basic description of the Clients premises. Please note that duration may vary therefore a degree of flexibility is required.
    4. Client agrees to provide a task list for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with Avinchi Cleaning Solutions.
    5. All areas that the client wishes Avinchi Cleaning Solutions to perform the CLEANING Service(s), must be easily or relatively accessible. If the area which requires CLEANING is not easily accessible, then the cleaner reserves the right not to carry out the CLEANING to this area.
    6. If collection of keys is required from a location over 1 mile from the area of the scheduled CLEANING, a £10 (excl. VAT) charge will apply and £0.50 for every mile thereafter.
    7. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions will not be responsible for triggering any alarm systems. The Client should give special instructions for deactivation/activation of any premises alarm systems.
    8. The Client understands that the price quoted over the phone or email, includes CLEANING labour, unless the Client wishes for us to use special detergents.
    9. If the Client requires special CLEANING detergents, then the Client will be responsible for providing these detergents along with usage instructions. This has to be requested at the time of the booking. If these detergents do not work with our equipment, then we will be required to use our own detergents if applicable.
    10. If the Client’s detergents damage equipment provided by Avinchi Cleaning Solutions, then it will be the Clients responsibility to pay for repairs required, the replacement of a like for like or pay the present cash value of the equipment so that we can obtain a replacement.
    11. The client understands that additional Parking and Congestion charge may apply if applicable.
    12. If the Cleaner is unable to complete the Service(s) rendered due to time or emergencies, then we may be required to come at an alternative date and or time. The Client will be notified of this. All other terms listed above and below still apply.
    13. We reserve the right to amend the Terms and conditions for previous, current and new clients with 30 days written notice. This notice can be via letter or email.
    14. Our main point of contact will be email and if we are unsuccessful in contacting the Client via email, then a letter will be sent to the Clients last known address. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that email, telephone and postal address is up to date. Clients can contact us via email, letter or telephone to update details.
    15. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions will not be responsible for emails or letters that are unsuccessfully delivered by their email provider or by the postal service (Royal Mail and others alike).
    16. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions will not be responsible for Acts Of God, which cause damage to the Clients premises, during or after the Service(s) rendered.
    17. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions will not be responsible for damage caused to fragile, sentimental, priceless, special or any other type of good unless it is clearly labelled or advised in writing prior to the cleaning taking place.

 

  1. RESTAURANT AND BAR CLEANING
    1. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change.
    2. If collection of keys is required from a location over 1 mile from the area of the scheduled CLEANING, a £10 (excl. VAT) charge will apply and £0.50 for every mile thereafter.
    3. The client understands that additional Parking and Congestion charge may apply.
    4. The Client is advised that an Office CLEANING Service may take double the length of time required for a general CLEANING. After Builders CLEANING, Parties CLEANING or Badly neglected premises may take up to three times longer than a well maintained premises requiring general CLEANING.
    5. The client understands that additional Parking and Congestion charge may apply.
    6. Minimum duration of 1 hour per CLEANING visit applies.
    7. If the Client requires special CLEANING detergents, then the Client will be responsible for providing these detergents along with usage instructions. This has to be requested at the time of the booking. If these detergents do not work with our equipment, then we will be required to use our own detergents if applicable.
    8. If the Client’s detergents damage equipment provided by Avinchi Cleaning Solutions, then it will be the Clients responsibility to pay for repairs required, the replacement of a like for like or pay the present cash value of the equipment so that we can obtain a replacement.

 

  1. END OF TENANCY CLEANING
    1. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change.
    2. If collection of keys is required from a location over 1 mile from the area of the scheduled CLEANING, a £10 (excl. VAT) charge will apply and £0.50 for every mile thereafter.
    3. Minimum duration of 4 hours per CLEANING visit applies and further time depending on the package that the client has selected.
    4. Client agrees to provide a task list and all CLEANING detergents and equipment (vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket and portable ladder) required to carry out the Service(s), unless other arrangements have been made with Avinchi Cleaning Solutions. All CLEANING equipment provided by Client, should be safe and in full working order.
    5. The sales advisors can only give a rough estimate of the duration of the CLEANING Service(s), which is based on a basic description of the Client’s house. Please note that duration may vary therefore a degree of flexibility is required.
    6. If the Client requires special CLEANING detergents, then the Client will be responsible for providing these detergents along with usage instructions. This has to be requested at the time of the booking. If these detergents do not work with our equipment, then we will be required to use our own detergents if applicable.
    7. If the Client’s detergents damage equipment provided by Avinchi Cleaning Solutions, then it will be the Clients responsibility to pay for repairs required, the replacement of a like for like or pay the present cash value of the equipment so that we can obtain a replacement.
    8. The Client is advised that an End of Tenancy CLEANING Service may take double the length of time required for a general CLEANING. After Builders CLEANING, Parties CLEANING or Badly neglected premises may take up to three times longer than a well maintained premises requiring general CLEANING.
    9. The client understands that additional Parking and Congestion charge may apply.

 

  1. CARPET CLEANING
    1. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change.
    2. If the Client has a dog, cat or other hairy pet then an extra 10% charge will be added to the Service(s) price due to the extensive amount of animal hair slowing down the CLEANING process.
    3. If water extraction is required due to flooding 30% extra charge will be added to the Service(s) price.
    4. The client understands that additional Parking and Congestion charge may apply.
    5. All carpet CLEANING orders are subject to £10 (excl. VAT) minimum call out charge.
    6. If collection of keys is required from a location over 1 mile from the area of the scheduled CLEANING, a £10 (excl. VAT) charge will apply and £0.50 for every mile thereafter.
    7. If the Client requires special CLEANING detergents, then the Client will be responsible for providing these detergents along with usage instructions. This has to be requested at the time of the booking. If these detergents do not work with our equipment, then we will be required to use our own detergents if applicable.
    8. If the Client’s detergents damage equipment provided by Avinchi Cleaning Solutions, then it will be the Clients responsibility to pay for repairs required, the replacement of a like for like or pay the present cash value of the equipment so that we can obtain a replacement.
    9. Minimum duration of 1 hour per CLEANING visit applies.

 

  1. WINDOW CLEANING
    1. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change.
    2. The client understands that additional Parking and Congestion charge may apply.
    3. If collection of keys is required from a location over 1 mile from the area of the scheduled CLEANING, a £10 (excl. VAT) charge will apply and £0.50 for every mile thereafter.
    4. If the Client requires special CLEANING detergents, then the Client will be responsible for providing these detergents along with usage instructions. This has to be requested at the time of the booking. If these detergents do not work with equipment, then we will be required to use our own detergents if applicable.
    5. If the Client’s detergents damage equipment provided by Avinchi Cleaning Solutions, then it will be the Clients responsibility to pay for repairs required, the replacement of a like for like or pay the present cash value of the equipment so that we can obtain a replacement.
    6. Minimum duration of 5 minutes per CLEANING visit applies.

 

  1. PRESSURE WASHING
    1. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change.
    2. If collection of keys is required from a location over 1 mile from the area of the scheduled CLEANING, a £10 (excl. VAT) charge will apply and £0.50 for every mile thereafter.
    3. The client understands that additional Parking and Congestion charge may apply.
    4. Minimum duration of 1 hour per CLEANING visit applies.
    5. If the Client requires special CLEANING detergents, then the Client will be responsible for providing these detergents along with usage instructions. This has to be requested at the time of the booking. If these detergents do not work with our equipment, then we will be required to use our own detergents if applicable.
    6. If the Client’s detergents damage equipment provided by Avinchi Cleaning Solutions, then it will be the Clients responsibility to pay for repairs required, the replacement of a like for like or pay the present cash value of the equipment so that we can obtain a replacement.
    7. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions will require a water source and power source in order to fulfill the Pressure Washing Service. If this is not available when the Cleaner arrives, this will be classed as a Lockout and the Client will agree to pay 30% of the quote given by the sales adviser if no payment has been made.
    8. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions will assess the area requiring CLEANING, but will not be responsible for any type of “Filler”, “Concrete” or “Grout” which comes loose due to the CLEANING of the hard or soft surface, as the Client is aware that there is high pressure equipment being used in order to fulfill Service(s) rendered.

 

 

  1. OFFICE CLEANING
    1. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change.
    2. If collection of keys is required from a location over 1 mile from the area of the scheduled CLEANING, a £10 (excl. VAT) charge will apply and £0.50 for every mile thereafter.
    3. The Client is advised that an Office CLEANING Service may take double the length of time required for a general CLEANING. After Builders CLEANING, Parties CLEANING or Badly neglected premises may take up to three times longer than a well maintained premises requiring general CLEANING.
    4. The client understands that additional Parking and Congestion charge may apply.
    5. Minimum duration of 1 hour per CLEANING visit applies.
    6. If the Client requires special CLEANING detergents, then the Client will be responsible for providing these detergents along with usage instructions. This has to be requested at the time of the booking. If these detergents do not work with our equipment, then we will be required to use our own detergents if applicable.
    7. If the Client’s detergents damage equipment provided by Avinchi Cleaning Solutions, then it will be the Clients responsibility to pay for repairs required, the replacement of a like for like or pay the present cash value of the equipment so that we can obtain a replacement.

 

  1. PAYMENTS
    1. If the Client is making cash payments, this will be requested prior to the day the CLEANING is due to take place OR on the day that the CLEANING is due to take place. The Cleaner will request this when he/she arrives at the premises.
    2. If the client is paying via Direct Debit, then the Client agrees to sign and return the Agreement and Direct Debit forms to US prior to the first CLEANING visit.
    3. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions reserves the right to suspend CLEANING Service(s) if monthly payments are missing or if paper work is not returned to Avinchi Cleaning Solutions prior to the first CLEANING visit.
    4. Payment can be made with debit or credit card over the phone (This will need to be made in advance). If payment is made by credit card, a 4% surcharge will apply. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions will not share the Client’s card details with a third party.
    5. Monthly payment will be refunded only if Client does not require CLEANING Service(s) for more than 4 consecutive weeks.
    6. The Client agrees that any outstanding amount owed to Avinchi Cleaning Solutions can be charged from the debit/credit card the Client has provided at the time of the booking.
    7. Client understands that any ‘late payments’ may be subject to additional charges.
    8. If payment is not made after 30 days of invoice then the account will be passed to our collections agency, after which a charge of 30% plus Vat on top of the initial invoice due, will be added to the debt. You agree as part of this contract to pay this sum which represents our reasonable costs in collecting the unpaid amounts.

 

  1. COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS
    1. The Client accepts and understands that poor Service(s), breakage/damage or theft must be reported within 24 hours from the Service(s) date. Failure to do so will entitle Client to no refunds or recovery CLEANING.
    2. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions requires the presence of the Client or his/hers representative in the beginning and at the end of the CLEANING session as an inspection can be carried out and if any corrections, should be made on the same day.
    3. If the Client has scheduled an inventory check then it must be scheduled to commence no later than 24 hours after the CLEANING job has been carried out.
    4. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions may take up to 7 working days to respond to a complaint.
    5. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions will not accept a complaint based on an Inventory check report, filed more than 24-hour after the CLEANING session.
    6. Complaints are accepted verbally over the phone and in writing via letter and e-mail. Complaints must be reported on completion or in the following 24-hours.
    7. All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed. Items excluded from liability are: cash, jewelry, items of sentimental value, art and antiques.
    8. Key replacement/locksmith fees are paid only if keys are lost by our operatives. There is a £30 per household liability limit.
    9. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions agrees to keep all Clients’ information confidential.
    10. In case of damage, Avinchi Cleaning Solutions will repair the item at its cost. If the item cannot be repaired, Avinchi Cleaning Solutions will rectify the problem by crediting the Client with the item’s present actual cash value toward a like replacement from Avinchi Cleaning Solutions’ source upon payment of CLEANING Service(s) rendered.

 

  1. CLIENT SATISFACTION
    1. Client understands that he/she is not entitled to any refunds.
    2. If the Client is not completely satisfied with a CLEANING job, Avinchi Cleaning Solutions will re-clean any areas and items to Client’s satisfaction. Therefore Client must allow the cleaner to be returned.
    3. Client must be present at all times during the recovery-clean. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions reserves the right not to return a cleaner more than once.
    4. Any Complimentary CLEANING Service(s) Avinchi Cleaning Solutions offers will be at the discretion of the CLEANER.

 

  1. LIABILITY
    1. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions reserves the right not to be liable for:
    2. Completing tasks which are not stated on our task list;
    3. CLEANING jobs not complete due to the lack of suitable CLEANING detergents and/or equipment in full working order, hot water, cold water or power;
    4. Third party entering or present at the Client’s premises during the CLEANING process;
    5. Wear or discoloring of fabric, soft and hard surfaces becoming more visible once dirt has been removed;
    6. Failing to remove old/permanent stains that cannot be removed using standard CLEANING methods;
    7. Existing damage or spillage that cannot be cleaned/removed completely using equipment and detergents provided by the Client or Avinchi Cleaning Solutions.
    8. Any damages caused by a faulty or not in full working order detergents/equipment supplied by the Client.
    9. If the Client has got items which need special CLEANING methods and special CLEANING detergents, Avinchi Cleaning Solutions reserves the right to refuse the provision of the CLEANING detergents.
    10. Avinchi Cleaning Solutions will advise the client to provide the specific CLEANING detergents and to pass CLEANING instructions to the sales advisers when placing the order or give instruction to the present cleaner;

 

  1. CANCELLATION
    1. DOMESTIC AND COMMERCIAL CLEANING
      1. Client may cancel or adjust the time of a CLEANING visit/s by giving at least 48 hours advanced notice.
      2. The Client agrees to pay 10% of the CLEANING visit if the Client cancels or changes the date/time less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
      3. Client agrees to pay the full price of the CLEANING visit in the event of a lock-out caused by our cleaners being turned away; no one premises to let them in; or problem with Client’s keys.
      4. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts or skills.
      5. Client agrees to pay 10% of the price of the CLEANING visit in case of a termination of the Service(s) if the Client has given less than 48 hours advanced notice.
      6. Client may terminate the CLEANING Service(s) by giving thirty calendar days (30 days) advanced notice in writing(also via email) and specifying the last CLEANING date and give reason.

    2. Client agrees to pay 10% of the quote as a cancellation fee if the Client cancels or changes the date/time less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
    3. Client agrees to pay 10% of the quote as a cancellation fee in the event of a lock-out caused by our cleaners being turned away; no one premises to let them in; no water or power available at Client’s premises; or problem with Client’s keys.
    4. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts or skills.
    5. If an initial deposit has been paid to Avinchi Cleaning Solutions then the Client agrees that deposit funds may be used to cover the cancellation fee.

 

  1. END OF TENANCY CLEANING

    5. If an initial deposit has been paid to Avinchi Cleaning Solutions then the Client agrees that deposit funds may be used to cover the cancellation fee.

    5. If an initial deposit has been paid to Avinchi Cleaning Solutions then the Client agrees that deposit funds may be used to cover the cancellation fee.

 

  1. AFTER CANCELLATION OF THE CLEANING SERVICE(s)
    1. By entering into a Service(s) agreement with Avinchi Cleaning Solutions, the Client agrees that after the termination of the CLEANING Service(s) he/she will not hire or use any domestic Service(s) provided by a present or past cleaner introduced to the Client by Avinchi Cleaning Solutions. If the Client wishes to hire or use domestic Service(s) provided by such a cleaner then he/she must pay a referral fee of £400.

 

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant United Kingdom law, and by agreeing to be bound by them the Client agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the United Kingdom.

Avinchi Cleaning Solutions reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice.

Should any of the above clauses change all existing Clients will be notified. Please check this website for updates.

Avinchi Cleaning Solutions reserves the right to sub contract CLEANING service(s) rendered in the event that we are unable to complete service(s) due to workload, in which the Client will be notified 48 hours before scheduled CLEANING is due to take place.
